Materials and construction
Frame and shape: A reinforced inner frame (lightweight acrylic plate ) preserves the boxy form. The base is stiffened with beads to maintain stability.
Exterior: Panels of Ankara fabric and beads form the primary exterior surface. Patterns can be centered or patchworked for visual interest; choose bold, large-scale motifs to read clearly against the bag’s planes.
Beading: Acrylic beads are hand-beaded to the ankara frame . Use single-strand bead rows to highlight edges, or create dense beaded panels for texture. Mix matte and glossy acrylics for depth; metallic-finish beads add a luxe accent.
Handles and hardware: Short top handles in wrapped fabric, removable chain straps allow shoulder wear.
